Maïka Assels joined our firm as a law student in the summer of 2023. She is currently finishing her third year in the civil law degree program at the University of Ottawa and aspires to become a lawyer.

 

Mastering French and English to perfection, Maïka is able to support the lawyers of our firm in various mandates. She works in several areas of law, including family law, civil law and criminal law, which allows her to have a good understanding of the law as a whole. She devotes valuable time to analyzing each file and leaves no detail aside. 

 

Over time, Maïka has developed a passion for family law, which allows her to help families overcome the legal and emotional challenges they face, all with respect and compassion. Her professionalism, her analytical skills, her dynamism and her interpersonal skills make her a valuable help in the office.
